Abstract Submissions are open for the 10th UEFA Medical Symposium 2027

The UEFA Medical Symposium 2027 will take place in The Convention Centre Dublin from 2 – 4 February 2027. The theme of the Symposium is “Football Together for Health” and will bring together leading clinicians, researchers, and performance specialists from across elite football. As one of the most influential gatherings in the global football medicine community, the symposium offers a unique platform to exchange knowledge, explore emerging trends, and contribute to the ongoing advancement of player health and performance.

We are now inviting abstract submissions from anyone who is shaping the future of football medicine through innovation, research, and applied practice.

Why Submit an Abstract?

Submitting an abstract provides an opportunity to showcase your work to an international audience of peers and decision-makers working at the highest levels of the game. Accepted abstracts will form part of a dynamic scientific programme designed to translate evidence into practice and will be published digitally in the BMJ Open Sport & Exercise Medicine.

We encourage early submission to maximise your opportunity to be included in the programme and to help shape the conversations that will define the symposium. By presenting your research or applied insights, you will not only elevate your professional profile but also become part of a community committed to delivering safer, smarter, and more effective care for players at every level of the game.
